Studio 2021
Japanese artist Satoru Koizumi is known for quietly emotive wood carvings that entwine human and animal in an understated critique of modernity.
Studio 2021 — Satoru’s first ever print edition — is based on a series of preparatory sketches, offering an intimate insight into his artistic process. Each piece in the edition of 50 consists of 6 individual lithograph prints on Madrid Litho 140gsm paper, mounted together and finished with decorative strips of flaxen tape to evoke a working studio wall. The edition comes float-mounted in a light ayous wood frame with visible grain.
Each set of 6 is signed, dated and numbered by the artist.
